Handmade Leather Wallet

Prior to becoming an Olympic gold medalist and World Champion in diving, Greg attended Valhalla High School in El Cajon, Calif. He grew up taking dance and gymnastics classes as well as trampolining, and at 9 years old began diving lessons. By 11 years old, he was competing in amateur diving contests. Greg’s first diving coach, John Anders, was an important influence on him, constantly encouraging him to do his best, even if he didn’t win. According to Greg, “John Anders taught me how to be graceful. He taught me that diving should be like poetry—it should always be flowing.” Presented is a leather wallet that Greg handmade for Coach Anders, stamped with the word “COACH” with a swirling floral design. The wallet is in very good condition.
